The GPS Marine Charts App provides comprehensive access to nautical charts across Canada, with data sourced from the Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS). It is the only marine navigation application to offer route assistance featuring voice prompts, enhancing safety and convenience at sea. The app includes a route manager for creating new boating routes or importing existing GPX and KML files, supporting course orientation for Nautical Charts.

Coverage includes notable waterways such as the Trent-Severn Waterway and Lake Simcoe.

 <li>Voice Prompts for Marine Navigation: Includes prompts when approaching route markers, continuous updates on distance and estimated time of arrival, and alerts for deviation from the intended course or wrong direction.</li>
 <li>Route Management: Create routes from scratch, modify existing GPX/KML routes, add custom descriptions to points, and place markers along routes.</li>
 <li>Offline Charts: Derived from CHS data, with visual area selection for download, textual search, cataloging by region and district, and charts reprojected for WGS84 datum.</li>
 <li>Chart Features: Seamless quilting of marine charts for smooth navigation experience.</li>
 <li>Navigation Tools: Distance and bearing calculations, creation of custom waypoints via GPS, map selection, or manual entry of coordinates.</li>
 <li>Points of Interest (POI): Layer overlay featuring comprehensive POI categories such as buoys, lights, harbor facilities, and obstructions; derived from Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC).</li>
 <li>Search Capabilities: POI and waypoint search functions.</li>
 <li>Navigation Aids: Pan and zoom controls, my location tracking, recording of marine GPS tracks with overlay visuals, live track animation, and analytics on track statistics.</li>
 <li>Data Export: GPX tracks can be exported to SD card or shared with others efficiently.</li>
 <li>Auto Follow Mode (Course Up): Continuously updates the boat’s position on the chart with adjustable update frequency for real-time navigation support.</li>
